“Sex in the City” or “Sex and the City”?
Which way do you remember it? A large amount of people say they remember, “Sex in the City” yet the correct way is now, “Sex and the City.”
I guess the question is why do people remember it being spelled with the “in” instead of the “and.” Is this some kind of false memory? Is it because is just sounds better so your brain fills in the word that sounds better? Or is it something more profound?
Lately we have been hearing a lot about the Mandela Effect. The Mandela Effect is a theory that we have somehow bumped into another parallel dimension and moved to this new alternate universe which is very much like our own, with subtle differences, such as slight name changes and events happening on different dates. An example of a date being moved around is Nelson Mandela’s death. Many believe it was in the 80’s while he was in prison that he died, yet current evidence suggests it wasn’t until 2013 that he died. Why does there seem to be two different versions or mass memories of this his death? This is what led to these strange occurrences being called, “The Mandela Effect.”
So back to, “Sex and the City.” Share your opinion or memory with us.
